Position

The Hotel Pineta Castello is placed on the green hills of Cava de'Tirreni, in the province of Salerno. Cava is a town rich in history, art and suggestive charming traditions, situated in a marvellous green ledge between Mount Lattari, in the east, and Mount Picentini, in the west.

In the XVIII century and throughout the XIX century, Cava had been the favourite destination for the foreign passengers, who left to make the famous "Grand Tour" looking for the archaeological beauties of our town. The charming metellian valley had been the inspiration of famous painters and men of art, thanks to its harmonious balance between sea and the mounts.

In fact from here it's possible to easily reach the most beautiful seaside resorts, such as Amalfi (22 Km), Ravello (28 Km), Positano (35 Km), Paestum (50 Km) and some of the most important archaeological sites, such as Paestum, Pompei and Ercolano. This is the reason why Cava de' Tirreni has become a touristic best known destination. This town is the ideal place for a stay of quiet and serenity.
